Our thanks to Travis for providing us the audiobook presentation of: The Present Crisis of the Holy See.

This book was compiled from four lectures given by Henry Cardinal Manning in 1861 on the present crisis of the Catholic Church. He illustrates that what we see passing before our eyes is part of the continuation of expansion of the mystery of iniquity.

From the various heresies of old , which were one in principle and action, into the apostasy of Rome. He uses the common speculations of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church on expounding upon the antichrist and end times, while not getting into the minute details, which can only be known at that time. He cites the Universal Agreement of the Fathers of the Church, which we know to be an infallible guide in discerning the truth in doctrinal matters.

The book is very valuable in our day, as we see the details unveiled before our eyes... like the indifference of the Vatican 2 religion and it's false protestant inspired worship which has taken over most "Catholic" places of worship, through the novus ordo missae.

The book does not put a timeline on events, but helps us understand where we are, and have increased trust that it is prophesied to be, and part of God's plan. And I may add, that we, being the hindrance to the antichrist, ought to pray and sacrifice according to our role.
