Saturday Mar 02, 2024
Kevin and Dad talk about the recent, viral, interview with the Russian leader. Controversial to be sure, it still begs the question if there has ever been a more important interview before. And not only due to what was said but also the fact that it makes the legacy media now completely obsolete. May God help us all and may Our Lady bring us peace!

The American Republic chronologically prefigured by the Roman Republic
Saturday Mar 02, 2024
Saturday Mar 02, 2024
n prior episodes, we have explored the astonishing chronological parallels between the History of the Catholic Church and Old Testament. Here is a link to that podcast in case you missed it.
• Church History Chronologically Prefig... In this podcast, our guest Dominic will expound a corollary of those prefigurements between the Church and Old Testament Israel. In the course of Old Testament events, the city of Rome founded far away from Israel across the Mediterranean Sea, in 753 BC. Likewise in parallel fashion, in the course of Church history, at a corresponding point in time, the Jamestown colony was founded in 1607 across the ocean from Christendom. See both the early Roman colony and the Jamestown colony develop and grow into republics. Their histories share astonishing chronological parallels in their leaders, major events, societal trends, government structures, wars, internal conflicts and more! At the time of Octavian Augustus, the Roman republic was just about finished transitioning into the Roman Empire. The republic, with its representative system of government, was eclipsed by the autocratic rule of the emperor. By parallel, America is going through the same transition with the "death of democracy" that we keep hearing about. By comparing Rome and America through astonishing chronological parallels, we can step back from our personal experiences with America and see it more clearly in the light of ancient history. This is especially beneficial for us as Catholics!
